Neckar Bridge Mannheim
Mannheim, 1996
Bridge over the Neckar at Mannheim as part of the interstate highway A6, Germany. The bridge was built as a 6-span prestressed concrete bridge, two independent box girders with external prestressing. A small midsection at the haunched area of the box girders with inclinded slender struts gives the bridge a lightweight appearance.
